Very cool place, it has a beer hall feel with long wooden benches and a bar area along with an outdoor area that is tented and heated for the winter months. The process for ordering is a bit cumbersome, they have one area of the bar where all orders from the tables have to be made and then they bring the food over to you. Beers they pour and hand to you at the bar.

Then you go back to the same bar area to pay. It causes some delay at times when someone is pondering the beer list trying to figure out what they want when all you want to do is pay your tab and head out. The line was three or four deep at the order area when I was trying to leave. I would consider having typical waiter service for the tables vs the current approach. Food is typical bar food items and they were served quickly and of good quality. You have to grab your own silverware, napkins and condiments which as first time guests took a minute to understand since they brought the food out and left before we could ask where those items were. For the food price I would expect waitered service for things like this vs the more self serve especially since when we paid they had the tip line on the credit card bill.

Came here for a tour/to try some beers. The tour was quick, informative, and interesting. Make sure you call ahead to reserve a spot! The staff were very friendly and happy to let me try beers I wasn't sure I'd like. The space is a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, with a nice little picnic grove outside for nice days.

There were a lot of families and groups alike enjoying the weather, the food, and the brews. Of the beers I tried, the royal weisse unfiltered was my favorite.

I wasn't crazy about any of the other ones, personally. The pretzel bites were absolutely delicious too. They're buttery and served warm, with a side of honey mustard sauce. Absolutely recommend them as an accompaniment to some beers. All in all, definitely worth a visit! You probably won't want to spend more than an hour and a half or so here, but definitely a great spot to check out. One of the best Breweries I have ever been to!

They have a great sense of who they are and outstanding customer service. We walked in with someone who regularly comes here, and the bartenders greeted him on a first name basis - brownie points! I started by ordering a flight of beers to get a sense of what I would like. The flight was EXTREMELY large, 6 beers, at least 3 oz each. Each beer had a great variety compared to the rest. As we tackled the flight, our group ordered some food and it came with the friendliest of servers. My favorite was the preztel bites that were glistening with hot butter as they sat on the plate.

We also ordered nachos, which I was not as impressed by, but had good flavor. The margarita pizza was also good, not mind blowing, but considering this is one of very few breweries I've been to that even attempts to have a full menu - I'll give it a pass. As for beer, I did find a few belgian styles I liked.

I sadly wrote down the name in the wrong order from my flight and thus ordered incorrectly. The gentlemen behind the counter very graciously exchanged it, no extra charge, and no hassle. We arrrived at about 4:30 and the tasting room was pretty empty, but by 6 pm, the place was buzzing with people on a Friday afternoon. There were many families parked out on the lawn and kids riding bikes on the street.

It seems like a great community builing area, and almost made me think about moving into Pottstown - just kidding - but it was cute. Great place, and MAJOR pluses to the distillery across the street - they have air conditioning, free wifi, AND food! But you should check both of them out for yourself. Located off the circle of progress in Pottstown near the airport, can be a little tricky to fine if not use to the order. They have a great selection of beer and nice selection of food.

The prices are very reasonable for IPA and food. The staff was very helpful and friendly, thank you. They now have a nice outdoor space that is enclosed with make seating for large groups or at busy time feel a lot less. They do have outdoor space that is not cover, so if you're walking your pet you can still grab a cold one. The pizza is amazing. The make the dough in house and you can see them tossing it.

We tried the Kielbasa and it was excellent. Wings were beyond disappointing. They were served cold and tasted like they had been reheated. I love wings and could only stomach two of them. It is your classic brewery atmosphere.

Order at the front and you can sit at long tables with your number and make friends. Beer was decent. Disappointed by their IPA's, but their saisons and wheats were good. Over all seems like a nice place. Stick to the pizza, avoid the wings, and you will be golden.

I could walk to the Phoenixville location if the area were pedestrian-friendly, yet I go out of my way to come to this location. May just be a matter of personal taste but I find the beer/food better here. Food menu is smaller than the other location but the options are good. I usually go for the pizzas or brick oven wings. Service has also always been good here - if you're like me and tend to get skipped by bartenders in crowded places (short guy problems) this is a good place to come as they have a section of the bar where you can line up to order beer garden style. A little out of the way as it is in an industrial complex but this is where they do the serious brewing (you can see into the brewery which is pretty cool).

Worth the trip. Sly Fox isn't a bad brewery, they are trying to do some inventive things. I think with time. Or something.

At the tasting room, I tried the Hefeweizen Doppelbock, the Ichor, and something else that tasted almost exactly the same and the Ichor. The hefeweizen was my favorite, I tasted a good amount of banana.

The Ichor was a bit watery, I was expecting more flavor. Counter service and picnic tables for food.

The food wasn't bad, but sort of an afterthought. They need to get rid of the pop tops on their cans. Cans are versatile, cans with a pop top are not.
